Presentation of tourist offer of Zlatibor at the international tourism fair

The tourist offer of Zlatibor had its fair presentation today, on 24. February at the stand of the Tourist Organization of West Serbia.

All tourist potentials of Zlatibor were presented, among which the most important project of the Municipality of Cajetina in the last 100 years, Gold gondola Zlatibor. Mr. Milan Stamatovic, Mayor of Cajetina, said that Zlatibor records better results through years and, promoting its tourism and domestic offer, also promotes Serbia.

At the same time, Stamatovic regretted because the state still inhibits the realization of the project of national importance.

“Cajetina works seriously and seriously considers investments and improvement of tourist offer. Precisely for this reason, we have brought here a cabin to show that we are prepared and have provided the funds, and it would be excellent if institutions could support such projects, due to quick and efficient future project realization in Serbia in general. The reason we decided to organize work action is because we wanted to show that we should dispense with all unnecessary bureaucracy and highhandedness of politicians who do not perceive the real responsibility of their functions. Are there more important things for Serbia than the most important investment, new gondola which was presented here today? No one will stop us, we will continue to work on this project. I hope that today’s event showed the way in which Serbia needs to go, and how we all can contribute. Our main goal is to get outside the national framework in order to introduce our potentials at the international level and to increase the number of foreign guests, that are, unfortunately, avoiding Serbia for various reasons”, said Mr. Stamatovic.

The guests at the fair were welcomed by the director of the Tourist Organization Zlatibor Mr. Vladimir Zivanovic. Director JP “Gold gondola” Zlatibor, Ms. Bojana Bozanic, expressed the hope that the currently grounded gondola on the Tourism Fair will soar to the air by the end of the year.
